The Adventure begins at 7:00 am when our bus picks you up from Perth and drives you to the boat in Fremantle where we "kick-start" the day with tea/coffee and fresh fruit.
At 8:00 am we begin our 40 minute journey to Rottnest Island. On arrival, we stop at Thomson Bay to take a 30 minute stroll around the historic settlement and to meet a quokka, the cute, small wallaby exclusive to Rottnest Island.
On its journey of discovery, Rottnest Adventures seeks out the resident pods of bottle-nosed dolphins. They inhabit these waters all year round, usually remaining close to the reefs and shallows where fish are plentiful.
Although wild, they briefly allow us to enter their world of feeding and playing - sometimes even surfing!
Snorkelling & Scuba Diving
We anchor at 2 or 3 different bays for snorkelling and diving. There are numerous places where the water is shallow, protected and filled with colourful fish life.
Interact with Sealions
A major attraction of the day is meeting the Australian Sealions of tiny Dyer Island, located only 300 metres from Rottnest.
Friendly and curious, they often come over to greet and play with our guests.
Boat Barbeque Lunch
Lunch includes steak, sausages, chicken wings, noodles, salad, rice and bread rolls.
If we are lucky enough to catch a lobster during the lobster season, that is also on the menu
Other Activities Include:-
Tubing in a monster biscuit
Light Tackle Fishing
Diving on an historic shipwreck
