The Opal Mine at 30 Gawler Place, Adelaide, South Australia is our third generation Bartram family opal business founded in 1936 with vast experience in mining, processing, exporting and retailing.

Our most successful international showings of Australian Hand-crafted Jewellery and Gems include New York and Singapore and we have exhibited extensively within Australia.

We feature quality Australian natural Black, Boulder and Light Opals, and South Sea Pearls, in Hand-crafted Jewellery and as loose Gems. There are laminated Doublet and Triplet Opals, Matrix Opals and Specimens. Other choices are very affordable Aboriginal Art, Corporate Gifts and Souvenirs.
