The Moon River Gallery is situated on the Mary River in historic Maryborough.
Janet Revill saw the possibility of converting this beautiful space on the marina into a very exciting gallery using the creativity of local, interstate and overseas artists and crafts people. She has achieved a delightful mix of indoor and outdoor art that is invigorating, exotic and colourful; stunning and unusual artwork for a special place, whether it be an indoor living room or a secluded corner of the garden.
There is something for everybody - African and Amazonian masks, wood and ceramic Buddha, animals and birds from recycled wood and metal, beeswax lanterns in the shape of antique urns or dreaming faces, tea-light candelabra in copper and stainless steel , ceramic 'body-parts' specially treated to be hung outside, Moroccan garden lanterns - handcrafted with mosaic and standing almost a metre tall, beautiful tassels from Paris hand sewn with crystals and pearls - the list is endless.
