Swimming, surfing, sailboarding, volleyball and beach walking are just some of the recreational activities to be enjoyed at Wollongong's beaches.
From Stanwell Park in the North, to Windang in the South, the golden sands and blue-green waters of Illawarra's 17 magnificent beaches host spectacular marine life, a scuba diver's delight. In addition, eight of the area's beaches boast fascinating, easily accessible rock pools.
Council's Lifeguard Service
