Jeans west was established in Perth in 1972 operating as a jeanery stocking jeans and related clothing purchased from wholesalers around Australia.

• In 1985 jeans west expand into Queensland and stores grow to 60.
• In 1987 we open up in NSW taking store numbers to 100.
• 1992 sees the opening of our first Victorian store.
• In 1994 Glorious Sun takes 100% ownership and we grow to 150 stores.
• In 1996 we open in NZ and in 1997 our revolutionary fit system is launched.

Today jeans west operates over 200 stores across Australia and New Zealand and is represented in every capital city and territory.
