NTDE is the home of technical diving in Western Australia. NTDE is owned and operated by Steve Sturgeon, who has been diving for 25 years and is one of the highest qualified technical and cave divers in Australia.

He is the current National Director of the CDAA (Cave Divers Association of Australia), Current SSI (Scuba Schools International) Director of Training for WA & SA, SSI Instructor Certifier, TDI (Technical Diving International) Instructor Trainer.

IANTD (International Association Nitrox & Technical Divers) Instructor Trainer, CDAA Penetration Instructor, TDI Rebreather Instructor Trainer, Dive Rescue International MedDive Instructor Trainer.

Steve has also been involved in many cave diving expeditions to Australia, Indonesia and Vanuatu. He has a wide range of knowledge and skills gained from over 20 years full time work in the diving industry having owned and operated retail dive stores, the largest diving equipment servicing centre in Australia and various dive charter boats.
